My main aim for this blog is to keep my family & friends up to date on our family adventures & everyday life of our little family. For those of you who don't know me very well, my hubby, daughter & I live away from our family & move around a fair bit due to my hubby's work, so we have family & friends all over the place that we try to keep in touch with as much as possible. I'm sure you all know that sometimes 'life' just gets in the way. I have been using Facebook as my way of keeping our distant family & friends up to date so far & I hope that this blog will allow me a few extra lines of explanation as opposed to what I can fit into my status update each day :-)
I hope you enjoy reading this & I look forward to any comments that come from my posts. Speaking of posts...I am not actually sure where this blog will lead me or what the main topics will be apart from previously mentioned above, but I have named it 'I Love the Sweeter Things...' because that is how I wish to live my life. I love to bake sweet things for sweet people. I love to make jewellery & work with beautiful Swarovski Crystals. I love being organised, & the feeling I get from having a place for things makes me feel happy (my husband calls it OCD, but if so..then I am in denial). Most of all, I love my new little family. My husband Jason (who I have been with for 10 & a half years) & my daughter Kayla (who is 13weeks old today) are the sweetest things in my life right now.
